Mark your calendars! Mt. Abram will be hosting a festive Craft Fair on Saturday, December 13th, and we’d love to see you there. This event brings together many talented local vendors, offering a wide variety of handmade goods, unique gifts, holiday décor, and more. It’s the perfect place to find something special while supporting our community.
This year’s Craft Fair is proudly organized by the Class of 2026 as part of their fundraising efforts for prom and their senior class trip. Every purchase helps our students create unforgettable experiences during their final year at MTA.
Bring your family, invite your friends, and come enjoy a day of creativity, connection, and holiday cheer right here at Mt. Abram!
We hope to see you there! 🎁✨

As our soccer teams head into today’s championship games, a beautiful rainbow appeared over Mt. Abram this morning — maybe a little sign of good luck from the universe!
We’re so proud of our teams and all the hard work they’ve put in this season. Whether it’s skill, teamwork, or a touch of rainbow magic, we know they’ll give it their all out on the field today.

The Mt. Abram National Honor Society is proud to host an American Red Cross Blood Drive!
🗓️ Friday, November 7th
🕚 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM
🏫 Mt. Abram Gymnasium
➡️ Schedule your appointment: www.redcrossblood.org — enter Mount Abram for the sponsor code.
❤️🩹 Power Red appointments are going fast!
Last year, we collected 30 units of blood to support our local community — help us meet that goal again! We still have at least 10 more appointments that we NEED to fill!
If you can’t donate, maybe you know someone who can? Please share this post with friends and family.
🙏 Thank you so much for your support and for helping save lives! ❤️
Student-Led Conferences will be held on Wednesday, November 12th, and Thursday, November 13th, from 3:00–6:30 PM.
These conferences are a wonderful opportunity for students to share their progress, goals, and learning with their families.
If you have not yet seen a sign-up sheet from your child, please ask them — those have been sent home!
We look forward to seeing you and celebrating your student’s hard work and growth! 💙⚡️

Child Nutrition Program Updates
The start of the school year is the perfect time to share a few reminders about the MSAD 58 Child Nutrition Program.
NO CHARGE MEALS - Again this year, every MSAD 58 student is eligible to receive one breakfast meal and one lunch meal at no charge. The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and State of Maine reimburse the district for meals that meet their specified nutritional requirements - three components at breakfast and five components at lunch.
MILK ONLY - 50¢ each. Similar to last year, a carton of milk is not eligible for reimbursement by the NSLP or State of Maine. Therefore, an 8 oz. carton of low-fat white or low-fat chocolate milk is available to purchase for 50¢ each. Milk is available at either breakfast or lunch for students bringing their meals from home, or those wanting a second milk.
PAYING FOR MILK - Payment for milk is expected at the time of service unless the student has funds available on their student meal account. If you would like to add funds to your student’s account, please have them bring cash or a check - payable to MSAD 58 - to the school cafeteria.
SALAD BARS AT EVERY SCHOOL - We are continuing with our salad bar service during lunch again this year. All selections from the salad bar are included as part of a NO CHARGE meal for students.
BREAKFAST AND LUNCH MENUS - At a glance monthly menus are available for downloading from the district’s Breakfast and Lunch Menus webpage. School specific daily menus are posted under the new Dining icon on all school webpages.
